Statement of intent 2

For this music magazine, I will create an engaging and thematically rich print campaign that captures the essence of Elina artistic persona. The campaign will align with her signature aesthetic, while incorporating key elements of language and media representation to appeal to her diverse fan base.


Elina is known for her unique visual identity, often blending dark, surreal, and ethereal elements with high fashion and streetwear influences. My magazine will reflect this by using a combination of high contrast, ambient lighting, and bold, unconventional compositions. The visuals will draw inspiration from their music videos and album covers, incorporating cool-toned colour palettes (blues, blacks, and greens) and high-saturation accents to create a sense of emotional depth and mystery.

Typography will play a crucial role in reinforcing Elinas brand identity. She will use distorted, hand-drawn, or squiggle-style lettering to reflect her unconventional approach to music and art. Text will be minimal, allowing the imagery to take centre stage while still conveying key promotional information.


The campaign will use a variety of media language elements to create meaning and evoke emotion. The staging will be carefully designed, including elements such as oversized clothing (a key part of Elina aesthetic), dramatic shadows and surreal environments that reflect the themes of her music.

The camera will be a mix of close-ups and medium shots to capture Elina expressive facial features while emphasizing her connection to the audience. The rule of thirds and unconventional framing techniques will be used to create a sense of unease, reflecting the introspective and often melancholic themes of her music.

Post-production effects such as double exposure, glitch overlays, and grainy textures will also enhance the dreamy and supernatural feel of the visuals. This approach fits with Elina brand, which often subverts traditional pop imagery in favour of something more experimental and rawer.


Elina has built her career by rejecting conventional beauty standards and embracing individuality. This campaign will celebrate her authenticity by portraying her in a way that feels authentic and true to her personality. Instead of hypersexualized or polished imagery, the visuals will highlight her natural expressions, unfiltered style, and emotional depth
In addition to representing Elina herself, the campaign will also speak to her audience: Gen Z fans who value self-expression, mental health awareness, and non-conformity. Using an inclusive, gender-neutral style and interwoven themes of introspection and resistance, the campaign will reinforce the idea that Elina is more than music: she is a cultural figure who empowers people to embrace their true selves.



This print campaign effectively combines stunning visuals, symbolic media language, and thoughtful representation to create a captivating and authentic portrait of Elina. By staying true to its aesthetic and artistic values, the campaign will not only promote its brand but will also resonate deeply with its audience.
